In addition to arranging the ocean freight, K International will handle all your necessary export documentation.  Upon request, K International will arrange marine insurance with the lowest premium.

K International has access to the lowest freight rates on roll-on/roll-off vessels destined for worldwide ports.  Below on the left is a picture of a Ro/Ro vessel being loaded.  Even more secure service at slightly higher cost is available through containerized transportation.  Below on the right is a picture of a grounded container, with a vehicle being driven inside for loading.

Vehicles are being stowed below deck, protected against the elements, by port workers.  Watercraft are usually towed under deck on their trailers.  If watercraft are secured on cradles, the port workers will move the cargo using MAFIs (low trailers on rubber wheels).

Once inside, the vehicle’s battery is disconnected and the vehicle is blocked and braced securely. Container loading in the United States is mostly via loading dock, with the container already placed on truck chassis.

* These pictures are for illustration purposes only - not all ports are serviced by Ro/Ro and Container, and local stevedores or warehouse personnel may use other commercially reasonable techniques.

K International is a bonded and licensed freight forwarder, NOT a moving company; we can even place ocean-going containers for your HOUSEHOLD GOODS at your residence (in which case you will responsible for loading the container yourself).  For security and liability reasons, however, we do not permit shippers to stow their own vehicles or watercraft under any circumstances.  If you bring your household goods to one of our warehouses along with your vehicle or watercraft, we can arrange for containerization.  Ship overseas with cost effective and hassle-free service from the USA to worldwide ports.
